They all cleaned up a bit by the time we next saw them in Montreux, starting August  7, 1971, including Robert shaving his beard. This is kind of adorable in its own way, though – the early 70s were tough on all of us! – and watching them grow into their godhood was among the great pleasures of the coming few years.
