(btw, I don’t know anything about this, other than that he looks like he’s in one of Elvis’s martial arts poses. Anyone got anything on this?)

Wow, I’m stumped.  Nearly positive it’s 77, but I’ve never seen that blouse before.  Which is weird lol.  It reminds me a little of this one (which he wore in Dallas and a couple other cities that year):

Can’t be the same, though.  Unless there was some bizarre stuff happening with the light.  Hmm … must research!

I think it IS the same shirt!!! It’s just the difference between the stylized, sepia toned version I posted vs. the one you added that’s bathed in golden light. Look at the daisies – exactly the same. Even though the choker in mine isn’t 100% visible, it seems to be there, and I think the jewelry on his hands and wrists is the same too, and they both have varying degrees of duckface – howling duckface in mine, and full-on Duckface of the Gods in yours! These could quite easily be from the same show!

The official Swan Song press photo that you posted later has what I think is the same blouse in yet another lighting and color configuration, good ol’ black and white. Wearing the choker too.

As you noted in your post, LedZeppelin.com confirms this as 1977, so at least we’re sure about the year! Nice work!
